Henlem butterfly valves are the premier choice for Petroleum Refineries, Chemical Processing Plants, Power Generating Plants, and various other processing applications worldwide. Manufactured in our state-of-the-art factory in China, these valves offer unmatched performance and reliability.

,

Designed for excellence, Henlem butterfly valves feature a unique engineering approach that ensures zero leakage when closed. The precision seat and seal are machined at an offset angle, allowing for even seat loading around the entire seat ring. This innovative design eliminates any rubbing between the seat and seal during both opening and throttling, resulting in a long-lasting and repeatable zero leakage shut-off. As leading suppliers in the industry, we guarantee the highest standards for durability and efficiency in all our products.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What are the primary advantages of using a Lug End Butterfly Valve?
Lug End butterfly valves feature threaded inserts at both sides of the valve body. This allows them to be installed in a piping system using two sets of bolts and no nuts. It enables one side of the piping system to be disconnected without disrupting the other side, making maintenance and cleaning much easier.
Which design standards do these butterfly valves comply with?
Our butterfly valves are manufactured in strict compliance with international standards, including API609 for design, ASME B 16.10 for face-to-face (FTF) dimensions, ASME B 16.5 for flange dimensions, and API598 for testing and inspection.
What body materials are available, and how do they perform?
The valves are available in CF8 (304 Stainless Steel) and CF8M (316 Stainless Steel). CF8 offers excellent resistance to general atmospheric corrosion, while CF8M provides superior corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and industrial chemicals, making it ideal for harsh marine or chemical environments.
What pressure classes and sizes are supported?
We offer a wide size range from 2 inches up to 24 inches. The pressure ratings available cover standard industrial requirements, including Class 150LB, Class 300LB, and Class 600LB, ensuring compatibility with various piping system pressure demands.
How does the gear box operation benefit the user?
Gear box operation reduces the manual effort required to open and close large-diameter valves (especially those from 8" to 24"). It provides smooth, controlled quarter-turn operation and prevents water hammer by ensuring the valve is not shut too quickly.
